2013 GAME SCHEDULE

A full match listing for tag and tackle matches should be available early June with our first matches expected to be June 16th.

As per usual, games will be Saturday mornings (sometimes late morning for the older groups). Our first matches are expected to be June 16th and will run thru the end of July.  We also expect to have one or two weekday evening matches. The end of season state tournament will be on July 27th/28th. The exact game schedule should be available by the second week of June. We expect to play our home matches at Rock Creek Hills local park in Kensington (same location as last summer.) Tackle games will usually be on a slightly different schedule with a number of Saturday or Sunday evening games (to avoid some of the heat).

Typically, the younger age groups will play first starting around 9:30 or 10am, building up to the older kids playing the last matches, aiming to finish by 12:30pm.   Our under-7s (in-house) will usually play prior to our local (home) games.   There may be an exception but they usually won’t play on weekends we make significant travel.   The exact schedule (kick-off times) is set the week of the matches and is somewhat variable depending on the number of fields and our opponent.

It is very important the coaches know in advance when your player(s) will not be at a game.  Please remember to email (PACYouthRugby@gmail.com) when your player will NOT be available for a game!

The end of season MD state tournament will be on July 27th / 28th.  The tournament is an all day affair, with multiple games, playoffs, etc.  We usually enter as many teams as we have players interested in competing.  U9 and U11 play on Saturday, U13 and U15 play on Sunday.  Over the past few seasons we have been very successful at the tournament, winning championships and placing in various age groups.
